Our Process for Sod Replacement

Step One

We inspect your irrigation system, if one is in place, to locate and flag all sprinkler heads. We will also inspect the system for coverage issues and repairs to the system.

Step Two

We call Florida's "Call Before You Dig" service, to locate all underground lines before we start to dig.

Step Three

We clearly mark out and measure the areas to be replaced. Using our experience to determine what can be saved and what must be replaced so you don't pay for more work than what really needs to be done.

Step Four

We apply a general herbicide, if necessary, to kill any weeds at the root.

Step Five

We surgically cut out the dead areas with a sod cutter.

Step Six

Trim out grade area to be sodded to ensure the new sod will look fresh and clean.

Step Seven

The area is now ready for the delivery and install of "fresh from Florida" St. Augustine sod. We cut out and stagger the sod for the best look and potential health of the new sod.

Step Eight

We then go back over the irrigation system to make sure all the sprinkler heads are working properly. In addition, we program the system to meet the new sod's watering regimen.

Step Nine

Finally, we do a clean up of our dust and debris.
